The fact that railway transportation is safe and fast and its increasing importance in the country's economy and industrialization has also been understood in our country in recent years. The rapid development of railway transportation all over the world, new applications for electrification and signaling have also increased the importance of the safe realization of railway traffic, which has become more complex compared to previous years. The training of railway machinery (traction) personnel, who undertake important tasks in railway transportation, is seen as one of the important problems of the country. In addition, developments in the management of urban rail transportation systems in recent years have increased the importance of training the workforce to work in these areas. With the Rail Systems Machinery Technology program opened within the scope of the Vocational School of Transport, it is aimed to train responsible and duty-conscious manpower to take part in railway transportation. Within the framework of a protocol signed between our university and the General Directorate of TCDD, it was envisaged that the General Directorate of TCDD would support this training in all aspects.
