As an implementation of the protocol signed between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), the "SSB Qualified Workman Program" was initiated.
With the Qualified Workman Program specially designed for young people, the competencies of young people gained at the university; It is aimed to provide qualified human resources for our defense industry by supporting it with technical training programs and workshops.
The Qualified Workman Program will be held for the young people who were affected by the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023 and affected 11 provinces, especially in the first term.
With the Qualified Workman Program, young people will participate in pieces of training specially designed for the defense industry and approved by YÖK, they will do workshops in the defense industry companies named above, they will receive financial support through İŞKUR and at the end of the program, they will have the opportunity to be employed in the defense industry.
