History

Eskişehir Technical University Transportation Vocational School started its education and training activities in 9 programs in the 2012-2013 academic year by incorporating into Rail Systems Electric and Electronics, Rail Systems Management, Rail Systems Machinery Technology, Rail Systems Machining, Rail Systems Road Technology, Transportation and Traffic Services, Aircraft Technology programs within Anadolu University Porsuk Vocational School and Civil Aviation Cabin Services within Anadolu University Eskişehir Vocational School included Logistics Programs.

ESKİŞEHİR TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY was established by separating some units from Anadolu University with the "Law on making changes in Higher Education Law and some laws and decree laws" numbered 7141, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 18 May 2018 and numbered 30425. The School continued its Education and Training Activities within the body of Eskişehir Technical University.

"Rail Systems Electrical-Electronics", "Rail Systems Machinery Technology", "Rail Systems Management", "Rail Systems Road Technology" and "Transportation and Traffic Services" Programs, which are associate degree programs related to transportation within the body of Eskişehir Technical University Transportation Vocational School, started teaching in the 2001-2002 academic year. Also,"Rail Systems Engineer" and "Logistics" Programs started education in the 2009-2010 academic year, and the "Civil Aviation Cabin Services" Programs started education in the 2010-2011 academic year.

The Vocational School of Transportation, located in the city center of Eskişehir, continues its education and training activities on the Porsuk Campus, which consists of three blocks with a closed area of 7383 m², which was transferred to our University from the General Directorate of TCDD.

All Programs within Eskişehir Technical University Transportation Vocational School are included in the Transportation Services Basic Area within the scope of the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) in the Bologna Process.
